Jesus has risen
and we are so thankful and glad!!!!!
I'm not sure how I want to celebrate this holiday yet so I thought
we'd just do the usual. It's kinda fun doing it with the kids.
They make it worth the time and effort with the memories they create.

The eggs didn't last very long.
Girly cracked one by accident then, well, they ALL had to be cracked and eaten!
This year our church sponsored an egg hunt-
better than last year's experience! (Remember the helicopter drop?)
It was well organized, staffed and there were plenty of eggs for all.
We split up dad & son and mom & daughter and took to the field-
it was good we split up that way since dad was singularly focused on
finding the "golden" egg (it wasn't gold, it was glittery) that would win
the big prize. Mom tried but apparently went to the wrong side of the field.
Picking up eggs by the basketful. Always the girly girl- look at her fingers :)
Post-hunt calm. It doesn't look like he got anything but wait and see-
Notice her basket- yep, Hello Kitty! Thanks Halmuhnee!
Tadaa!!!! Dad was the best egg hunt partner!

And the winner is. . . he was sooooo proud!!!! Me, too!
Everyone was gushing that he found it and I have to admit,
I enjoyed the gushing!
