As we were looking out the front window, my eldest noticed a bunch of sticks on the ground. Looking closer we found out it was a bird's nest that fell out of the tree. Hunny even found an egg that had rolled out of it. We put it back together and stuck it in the tree but not before my cutie boy "fed" a pretend bird the egg with a stick. I guess he didn't understand the egg would hatch and a baby bird would come out.
awhh, so sweet! do you think the mommy bird will come back if she smells that humans have touched her nest? i know that rabbit mommies don't come back if they smell human scent on their underground incubators where they hide their babies. by the way, i love the new picture on top. EHK has the same big sibling shirt, only it says big sister!
