Simply because God loves me

I have been trying to get a picture/video of a hummingbird at our feeder but each time one comes, I can barely get to my camera before it is gone. But tonight. . . wow!

So, hunny and I were outside on our deck (I was cutting his hair) when we saw a hummingbird at our feeder. We got so excited to see it up close! Before, we've always been inside.

Me: I've been trying to get a pic or video- do you think if I ask God he'll send it back?
Hunny: Sure.

Right as we were talking about it, it came back! We were doubly excited! Most all the times before a hummingbird only comes once.

Me: Do you think it would be worth it for me to get my camera?
Hunny: Mmm, ok.
(I was thinking a third time would be a stretch but had a small stirring of hope/faith!)

I got it and turned it on and guess what?
The hummingbird came back a third time!!!!!!!

Me: You think it's too much for me to ask God for it to come back
so I can get a picture this time?
Hunny: No.
Me: One more time, God, one more time!

And guess what?!?!?!
IT CAME BACK A FOURTH TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
(can you tell I'm soooo flabergastedly amazed?!?!?!?!?!?!?!) Here's the picture:

Hunny: God really loves you!
Me: Hahaha!!! He does!!!! Yay!!!!!!!!

Hunny said it reminded him of a story from our pastor, Bill Johnson. He was sitting lakeside just enjoying it when he noticed the fish jumping out of the water catching bugs to eat. He wondered if a fish would catch a bee and right as he thought it, a bee flew right to where he was watching, hovered in one spot and a fish jumped out of the water to catch it. What did he learn from it? God's father heart. If it matters to us, it matters to him no matter how little it is.

Why? Simply because God loves us :)
