Our church hosts a Children's School of Supernatural Worship each summer. It is so awesome to see children ages 2-12 come from all over the country (I met people from Seattle, Indiana and D.C) to learn about worship for one week. This year the kids traveled to a different part of the world each day. Since my oldest is 3 he was in the "Wiggles and Worship" class. Each morning began with a craft activity, a time of worship, and a snack. There were different speakers each day from each country. We visited Australia, Africa, United Kingdom, Mexico and Israel. I was a little nervous my wiggler wouldn't want to go to school but he was excited to go and even enjoyed it (although if you ask him he'll say he didn't have a good time)!
Baby sister wanted in on the action- here she is with a worship cloth tied around her neck. When I took it off, she demanded I put it back on!
Fingerpainting. The heart was tape which we took off later. He's so funny. He did one swipe then told me he was done and needed to wash his hands. I indulged my inner child and finished the painting.
Wearing his crown :)
Dressed for worship. He looks so cute! My little prince ;P
I took this video without looking like I was taking video. It was the only way he'd let me. The cloth is the same purple one as above but it looks blue in the video. Ignore my singing.
Playing the bodhran- an Irish drum.
Getting prayed for by one of the school pastors (in Scottish dress). He wanted to hold the dagger.
The Bethel Drum Team played for us- the drum in the middle is a Native American drum called a "father drum".
One of the volunteers made small worship flags for each child- perfect size for him to wave around easily.
Baby sister trying on the crown. I'm going to have to get her one, too.
